Nanda Technologies was founded in 2006 in Munich. We are an international team of experienced engineers and managers from the semiconductor / high-tech industry. We are in the process of bringing our new product to the market by working together with selected lead customers.

Management Team

Dr. Lars Markwort, CEO & Founder

Lars has 16 years experience in the semiconductor equipment market. He has worked and lived in Silicon Valley as well as in several countries in Europe. His previous positions included BusDev at Zeiss SMT, BusDev at NaWoTec (aquired by Zeiss), Director of Engineering and later GM Europe for Nanometrics. He has experience in developing new products and selling them successfully to the top tier semiconductor manufacturers. Lars holds a PhD in Physical Chemistry from the University of Southampton, UK.

Raj Chhibber, CTO & Founder

Raj has 22 years experience in developing and marketing metrology systems for the semiconductor industry. He joined several companies in their growth phases and held senior management positions in engineering and R&D at Nanometrics, Phase-Metrics, Therma-Wave, MicroLithography, Kodak.  Raj has several times transformed innovative technology into successful products in the market. Raj holds a Master with Honors in Applied Physics, Essex University, UK.

Johannes von Borries, CFO & Founder

Johannes has 10 years experience in the high-tech and financial industry. His previous positions included Principal at Wellington Partners Venture Capital, CFO/BusDev at MobilePress (Start-up) and Strategy Consultant at Siemens. He has a wide experience in building successful high-tech businesses from the ground up. Johannes holds an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley, USA and a Master in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University of Berlin, Germany.
